MIAMI (CBSMiami) – As Small Business Week continues across South Florida, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava met with leaders to unveil a brand new program designed to support and empower local business owners.
The mayor made the announcement while attending the grand opening of Perfect Salon Suites at the Mall of Americas Wednesday.
Miami-Dade unveils new program to support, empower small business owners
Small businesses in Miami-Dade County received a show of support Wednesday as Mayor Daniella Levine Cava unveiled a brand new program designed to support and empower small business owners.
“As you know, the beauty industry, it got hit really hard during the pandemic,” Perfect Salon Suites co-owner Kemyana Jones-Bey said.
In Miami-Dade , we just won the title of "Strive305 Success Story" amongst over fifteen hundred small businesses .“I was delighted to join their grand opening last year, they are now opening another one in Miami international,” Miami Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said.
No external food or alcohol to be brought onto the premises.
Lunch is included with Gold and VIP tickets.
Evening drinks and dinner are included with VIP tickets only.
Coffee and drinks will be available at lunchtime and throughout networking breaks.
Video Recording will take place during all the Events
Virtual tickets are non-refundable as they can be accessed anytime during the event or replayed anytime after the event.
